A Personal Note

I’m Wendy, the founder of Salas Accounting & Tax, a Florida-based, virtual-first accounting and tax firm.

I created this practice because I believe tax and accounting services should feel clear, steady, and human — not rushed, confusing, or intimidating. My goal is always to help clients feel informed and confident about their financial picture, not overwhelmed by it.

I value structure, transparency, and a calm, organized process. I don’t rush through work, and I don’t believe good accounting or tax decisions should feel pressured. I prefer long-term client relationships built on trust, consistency, and mutual respect.

Outside of my work, I’m a mother and an animal lover. I enjoy simple things that help me stay grounded — riding my bike around Fort Lauderdale, spending time at the beach, and gardening. That same sense of balance carries into my practice. I believe good accounting, like most things done well, requires care, patience, and attention.

Clients often come to me feeling unsure or overwhelmed. My goal is for them to leave feeling clear, supported, and at ease.
